Two educational journeys
Built on decades of looking closely at how students learn — and on bringing classroom depth together with engineering, electronics and technology.
School & assessment
For close to fifty years, one journey has been inside school classrooms — teaching, examining and working within the CBSE system at Class 10 and beyond. That work has included setting and marking papers, serving as a CBSE examiner and Sub-Exam Controller, and teaching mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology with extensive laboratory work.
That experience brings a close understanding of curriculum, progression, assessment, and the ways in which small gaps in understanding can affect later learning — often long before they become visible in a report card.
Engineering & technology
The other journey began with engineering and continued through electronics, cloud computing, programming, artificial intelligence and academic mentoring — connecting ideas to systems that can be modelled, built, tested and applied.
That experience brings another perspective: how an abstract idea becomes something that works in the world — through computation, simulation, circuits, code and practical demonstration.
Different backgrounds. The same concern.
How can a student understand this better?
Not simply — how can this question be answered? But: why does this work? What is the underlying idea? Can it be explained another way? What happens when the situation changes?
Experience becomes part of the environment
The value of experience is not always something that needs to be announced. It appears in the questions asked. In the decision to pause. In recognising a misconception. In knowing when a student needs another explanation. In connecting one idea to something learned earlier. In knowing when a student is ready to go further.
The experience may be invisible.
Its effect should not be.
